Kyrgyz athlete becomes world champion in taekwondo

Bishkek, May 15, 2023. / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstani Rinat Urmatbek uulu became the world champion in taekwondo in the 70 kg weight category, the Ministry of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic reported.

He said that the athlete is a student of professional lyceum No. 18 in Bishkek.

The World Taekwondo Championship was held in Japan, it was attended by athletes from 70 countries.
