Kyrgyz FM receives ambassador of Lithuania due to completion of his diplomatic mission

Bishkek, May 26, 2023. /Kabar/. Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic Jeenbek Kulubaev received Ambassador of the Republic of Lithuania to the Kyrgyz Republic with residence in the city of Astana, Gintautas Vasiulis, on the occasion of the completion of his diplomatic mission.

The Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs said that at the beginning of the conversation, the minister congratulated the Lithuanian side on the opening of the Honorary Consulate of Lithuania in Kyrgyzstan and the Honorary Consul of Lithuania in Kyrgyzstan on the start of his mission.

The minister expressed satisfaction with the warm and friendly relations between the two countries. He also announced Kyrgyzstan's interest in intensifying bilateral relations with Lithuania and expanding comprehensive cooperation. At the same time, he noted the importance of exchanging visits at various levels.

The sides agreed on the need to develop business contacts and joint implementation of economic projects in the Kyrgyz Republic.

In addition, a brief exchange of views on topical regional and international issues took place.

At the end of the meeting, the minister expressed gratitude to the ambassador for the work done and personal contribution to the development of bilateral relations between Kyrgyzstan and Lithuania.
