Kyrgyzstan imports over 80 thsd tons of mineral fertilizers

According to him, in 2023 the need for mineral fertilizers is 286.7 thousand tons. Of these, nitrogen - 163.5 thousand tons, phosphorus - 105.8 thousand tons and potash - 17.3 thousand tons.

As of May 25 of this year, 81.5 thousand tons were imported, including 61.7 thousand tons of nitrogen (37.7%), 19.3 thousand tons of phosphorus (18.2%) and 0.58 thousand tons of potash. tons (3.3%).

Alisherov said that this year, prices for mineral fertilizers, compared to 2022, decreased by 8–10 soms per 1 kg of ammonium nitrate, and for carbamide - by 10–12 soms.
