137 Kyrgyz citizens returned from Kazakhstan

Bishkek, March 23, 2020./Kabar/.137 Kyrgyzstanis have arrived from Kazakhstan's Almaty city this morning, the press service of the Bishkek Mayor's Office said on Monday. At the Ak-Tilek checkpoint they were met by Head of Oktyabrsky district Maksim Sitnikov and Head of Oktyabrsky District Department of Internal Affairs Ulanbek Sultanov. "For security and exclusion of contacts from the checkpoint to the destination point, the convoy was accompanied by police officers and akimiat," the report says. Earlier, the Foreign Ministry reported that 126 Kyrgyz from Sharm el-Sheikh (Egypt), and 11 from Bangkok (Thailand) have arrived in Almaty. Upon the return to their homeland, all passengers were placed at a hotel in the capital. The city headquarters, in coordination with the Republican Headquarters (Headquarters for Preventing Import and Further Spread of Coronavirus in the Kyrgyz Republic) continues to meet and place the returning citizens under observation.
