7 new COVID-19 cases reported in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, May 13, 2020 / Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan reported 7 new confirmed COVID-19 cases on Wednesday, bringing its total number to 1,044. Deputy Health Minister Nurbolot Usenbaev said that there were no cases among medical workers in the last 24 hours. Three medical workers have been recovered and discharged from hospitals. Thus, the total number of recoveries makes 189 and the total number of infected medical workers is the same – 241. Currently, 306 patients are being treated in hospitals across the country, four of whom are in intensive care. Usenbaev said that in the past day, 17 patients recovered, bringing the total number of recoveries to 726. A total of 1,555 people infected with the novel coronavirus are still under medical observation, he said.
