70% of medical workers with COVID-19 recovered in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, May 6, 2020 / Kabar /. 5 new confirmed COVID-19 cases of medical workers were revealed among the newly infected 28 new cases in Kyrgyzstan the last 24 hours, the country’s Deputy Minister of Health Nurbolot Usenbaev told a news briefing. He said that all of them are in Bishkek. In total, 221 medical workers fell ill with novel coronavirus infection in the country. 154 of them have recovered and discharged from hospitals, which makes 70%. “Gradually, doctors are returning to work,” he said. To date, the number of people infected with COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan has reached 871. A total 614 people have recovered and 12 have died.
