82 law enforcement officers contracted coronavirus in Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, May 22, 2020 / Kabar/. 82 law enforcement officers were infected with COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan since the outbreak of the epidemic, the country’s Deputy Health Minister Nurbolot Usenbaev told Friday. He said that 33 of them have already been discharged from hospitals after recovery. “The remaining 49 continue treatment in hospitals,” Usenbaev added. Today, 37 new COVID-19 cases have been registered in Kyrgyzstan raising the total number to 1350, of which 273 cases of infection by medical personnel. 949 people were recovered and discharged from hospitals, including 224 health workers. Fourteen have passed away.
