98 medical workers infected with coronavirus in Kyrgyzstan

He noted that the total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID 19 in the republic is 98. In addition, Usenbaev said that, a policeman guarding the Ministry of Health contracted the coronavirus infection. Out of 98 medical workers who became infected with COVID-19, there were employees who worked in the operational headquarters to combat coronavirus. “When the coronavirus was detected in the first employee, we completely examined the staff of the Ministry of Health - this is about 100 people. The coronavirus was detected by a policeman who guarded the building. All anti-epidemiological measures have been taken. The team is being tested. Every day, doctors come and check their condition. They also disinfected the building,” said Usenbaev. He noted that whenever possible, many employees started remote work, but it is impossible to send all. He also noted that all measures are being taken for the full functioning of the department. Today, on April 15, in Kyrgyzstan, another 19 new COVID-19 cases were detected, a total of 449. 78 citizens were cured and discharged from hospitals. Five have passed away.
