Activities within framework of cross year of Kyrgyzstan and Russia to be held in online format

Bishkek, May 27, 2020 / Kabar /. Minister of Culture, Information and Tourism of the Kyrgyz Republic, Azamat Zhamankulov, received on Tuesday the head of the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Bishkek Viktor Nefedov. The parties discussed issues of organizing and conducting joint events under the auspices of the Cross Year of the Kyrgyz Republic in the Russian Federation and the Russian Federation in the Kyrgyz Republic. In particular, Minister Azamat Zhamankulov noted that a number of concerts and other events are being worked out with the Russian side in an online format. Viktor Nefedov thanked the minister for his active cooperation and spoke about the events held by the Russian Center, noting the launch of the online campaign “We Read Pushkin in Kyrgyz” with the participation of prominent and honored artists of Russia. Nefedov also noted that with the support of the Embassy of the Russian Federation in the Kyrgyz Republic, an online concert is planned for June 12, on Russia Day. In turn, the minister suggested holding a gala concert dedicated to the Day of Russia and organizing performances by artists of the Kyrgyz Republic and the Russian Federation with further broadcasting on Kyrgyz and Russian TV channels. Following the meeting, the parties agreed in close cooperation to work out the agreements and jointly hold concerts.
