Air transport issues between Kyrgyzstan, Qatar discussed

Bishkek, Nov.28, 2019. /Kabar/. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Qatar Chyngyz Eshimbekov met in Doha with CEO of Qatar Airways Akbar Al Baker. The meeting took place at the initiative of the Kyrgyz side, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Kyrgyzstan reported. During the meeting, the sides discussed the topical issues of bilateral cooperation, including issues in the field of air transport. As a result of the conversation, an agreement has been reached to increase interaction on the development of Kyrgyz-Qatari relations and joint development of various activities. Qatar Airways Company Q.C.S.C, operating as Qatar Airways, is the state-owned flag carrier of Qatar. Headquartered in the Qatar Airways Tower in Doha, the airline operates a hub-and-spoke network, linking over 150 international destinations across Africa, Central Asia, Europe, Far East, South Asia, Middle East, North America, South America and Oceania from its base at Hamad International Airport, using a fleet of more than 200 aircraft. Qatar Airways Group employs more than 43,000 people.
