Alibaba and Jack Ma Foundations delivered humanitarian aid to Kyrgyzstan

Bishkek, Apr. 9, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan received assistance from the Alibaba and Jack Ma Foundations to combat the COVID-19 coronavirus, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported. The ministry said that the humanitarian aid in the form of protective suits, protective masks, non-contact thermometers and others was delivered by a charter cargo flight from China to Bishkek. In addition, rapid tests and artificial lung ventilation devices are expected to be delivered in the near future. The total amount of assistance is RMB 1 million 800 thousand. The assistance was provided through the interaction of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, the Embassy of the Kyrgyz Republic in China with the SCO Secretariat and the Alibaba and Jack Ma Foundations, the report said. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic expresses its sincere gratitude to the Foundations and their leadership, Mr. Jack Ma, for the assistance and support provided to Kyrgyzstan in the fight against the COVID-19 coronavirus.
