Chinese company wins tender for purchase of eco-buses for Bishkek

Bishkek, Apr. 27, 2020 / Kabar /. This winter, the Bishkek passenger motor transport company of the capital city’s Mayor’s Office announced a tender for the purchase of hundreds of buses using compressed natural gas (CNG) or liquefied petroleum gas (LPG). The competition committee determined the winner, this is the Chinese company XIAMEN KING LONG UNITED AUTOMATIVE INDUSTRY Co., Ltd. The mayor’s office noted that 7 companies were included in the long list for the supply of new buses: 1. LLC "DT Technic"; 2. Beiqi Foton motor Co., Ltd; 3. Minsk Automobile Plant; 4. XIAMEN KING LONG UNITED AUTOMATIVE INDUSTRY Co., Ltd; 5. Xiamen Golden Dragon Bus Co., Ltd; 6. Nanjing Golden Dragon Bus Co., Ltd; 7. ZHENGZHOUYUTONGBUSCO., Ltd. “The buses will be new, 2020 of production date. The total capacity of the bus is more than 70 people, the number of seats is at least 26 passengers,” the report said. Also, buses will be semi-low and low-floor, equipped with ramps and a platform for passengers with disabilities.
