Conscripts in Kyrgyzstan to be checked for coronavirus

Bishkek, May 13, 2020. /Kabar/. Each of recruits is required to take a coronavirus test, the press service of the State Committee for Defense Affairs (SCDA) of the Kyrgyz Republic said. The first since the cancellation of the state of emergency sending of conscripts from Chui Oblast and the city of Bishkek to places of further military service took place in the national team point. "During conscription and sending to their military units, recruits are provided with medical masks and disinfectants. Each of them is required to take a coronavirus test. Upon arrival at the place of duty, all conscripts will be placed in a two-week quarantine. The festive events on sending and on the occasion of taking the Military Oath will be held without the participation of relatives and friends of the conscripts," the report says. The SCDA added the employees of the draft boards are provided with medical masks, antiseptics and contactless thermometers. Disinfection and sanitization are carried out in buildings, as well as on the adjacent territory of the commissariats on a daily basis.
