Coronavirus detected in Kyrgyz truck drivers after returning from Russia

Bishkek, June 18, 2020. /Kabar/. In Batken Oblast, 13 thousand 990 people were tested for coronavirus, First Deputy Governor Jarkynbek Maksutov told Thursday. According to the information, as of June 17, 11 people are placed in the detention centers, while 189 people are under observation. During the whole period, 224 people were placed in isolation wards, and 1,721 people - ubder observation. For the entire period, 39 residents of Batken Oblast were tested positive for COVID-19. The deputy governor added as of June 18, one new case of coronavirus was revealed in the oblast. According to Maksutov, 31 of them have already been cured, 8 of them are receiving treatment. Most reported cases of coronavirus are imported. Thus, from Tajikistan - 7 people, Kazakhstan - 2, from Russia - 9 drivers of heavy trucks and 1 case was revealed after returning from small hajj (Saudi Arabia). 5 doctors were infected, 3 of them have already recovered.
