COVID-19: 12 more Kyrgyz citizens returned to homeland

Today, June 10, Kyrgyzstan’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs in cooperation with the Kazakh Foreign Ministry worked out the return of 12 Kyrgyz citizens from the Republic of Korea, the press service of the Kyrgyz MFA reported. "Our citizens on a charter board of the Asiana Airlines (Korea) arrived at the Almaty International Airport, from which they were taken by special transport to Bishkek accompanied by an employee of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Health. All those who arrived will be placed under surveillance (observation) to undergo appropriate medical procedures in accordance with the established procedure. Work to find possible routes for returning citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic, located in foreign countries for subsequent organization of their export, including in cooperation with partner countries, is ongoing,” the report says.
