Delegation of Russia’s Rospotrebnadzor arrives in Kyrgyzstan to share experience in combating COVID-19

Bishkek, July 2, 2020. /Kabar/. A delegation from Russia led by Deputy Head of Rospotrebnadzor (Federal Service for Surveillance on Consumer Rights Protection and Human Wellbeing) Vyacheslav Smolensky arrived on Wednesday in Kyrgyzstan, PM Kubatbek Boronov said at a briefing. "This is an exchange of experience. Russia’s example of combat spread of COVID-19 coronavirus infection will be very useful to Kyrgyzstan. They shared their experience in combating this virus. Meetings with local epidemiologists, infectious disease specialists and virologists are also planned,” the prime minister added. Boronov said the arrival of these specialists was discussed during recent talks between Presidents of Kyrgyzstan Sooronbay Jeenbekov and Russia Vladimir Putin.
