DRAFT LAW ON DAYCARE SERVICE DISCUSSED

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The Citizen’s Hall Tuesday hosted a discussion on a draft bill on daycare service. Advising establishment of daycare centers for targeted group children who stay alone or under care of bigger siblings or babysitting relatives, the draft bill also foresees permanent employments for some 94 thousand parents who stay at home to look after their children. Moreover, this bill has importance in preventing home-accidents victimizing children uncared or neglected. In 2012, a total of 92 children aged between 0-4 died in accidents due to lack of proper care at home, said P.Gantulga, a member of a working group responsible for the law development. "Three out of every ten children aged 2-5 do not go to preschool educational institution due to insufficient increase in the number of kindergartens to race with a rapid growth in national birth rate." According to this draft, a daycare center might be organized up in many proper places, including a government agency to involve children of its employees.
