Education Minister Isakov, Ambassador Iversen discuss enhancing Kyrgyz-German co-op

Bishkek, Dec.5, 2019 /Kabar/. Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic Kanybek Isakov met with Ambassador of Germany to Kyrgyzstan Monica Iversen, the press service of the Education Ministry said Thursday. Ambassador Iversen said Germany is interested in enhancing cooperation with Kyrgyzstan, including the development of the German language. She added that the Embassy assisted in publishing a book on IT-technologies of Razzakov Kyrgyz State Technical University, and it is planned to be tested. Kanybek Isakov expressed gratitude to the German ambassador for the support of the education sector, and noted the need to improve cooperation between the two countries. The sides noted the number of students from Germany visiting Kyrgyzstan on vacation to develop the German language is increasing. 10 schools in Kyrgyzstan provide in-depth teaching of the German language.
