Education ministry of Kyrgyzstan takes part in online conference on distance education with colleagues from CA

Bishkek, Apr. 30, 2020 / Kabar /. Representatives of the ministries of education of Kyrgyzstan, Kazakhstan, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan took part in online conference “Actions taken by the education sector of Central Asia in the context of the COVID-19 pandemic”. The Ministry of Education said that the conference participants discussed the situation in the field of education in Central Asia in connection with the coronavirus, the organization of distance learning, related problems and their solutions. In addition, an exchange of views took place on modern practices and trends in distance education. In the coming days, it is planned to hold a thematic online conference on digital content, open educational resources, online platforms, information and communication competencies of teachers, test tasks and student assessment, the ministry said. The event was organized by the UNICEF Cluster Office in Almaty.
