Epidemiological situation in Kyrgyzstan stabilized - Ministry of Health

Bishkek, May 5, 2020 / Kabar /. The epidemiological situation in Kyrgyzstan has stabilized, Deputy Minister of Health of the country Nurbolot Usenbaev told. He said that a peak increase in incidence was not allowed from the very beginning. “Every day there is a registration of diseases, there are up to 30 or more cases, today 13 cases. This trend will probably be held in the near future. On such an epidemiological curve, we must go on a gradual decline,” he said. He added that, there has been activation, contacts have increased. In this regard, the deputy minister warned that a gradual return to normal life should be accompanied by measures recommended by the Ministry of Health. To date, the number of people infected with COVID-19 in Kyrgyzstan has reached 843, including 217 medical workers. A total 600 people have recovered and 11 have died.
