First Deputy PM Boronov met with compatriots residing in Turkey

Bishkek, Nov.26, 2019. /Kabar/. First Deputy Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Kubatbek Boronov met with compatriots and representatives of Kyrgyz diaspora, residing in Turkey.
The meeting, which took place in Istanbul, was held in the framework of the 9th meeting of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation, the press service of the Government said.
Boronov informed his compatriots about the work of the Government of Kyrgyzstan on the development of regions, digitalization, improvement of the social and economic situation in the country.
Besides, he spoke about the results of the meeting of the Kyrgyz-Turkish Intergovernmental Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation and the agreements reached.
Representatives of the Kyrgyz diaspora expressed interest in cooperation between the two countries, as well as touched upon pressing issues of migrant workers.
In particular, citizens of the Kyrgyz Republic emphasized some employment agencies are not fulfilling their obligations in good faith. Participants of the meeting requested assistance in resolving this issue.
Compatriots also informed Kubatbek Boronov about their life in the country of residence, living and working conditions, future plans and opinions on further development of the country.
The 9th meeting of the Intergovernmental Kyrgyz-Turkish Commission on Trade and Economic Cooperation was held in Ankara (Turkish Republic) on Nov. 24.
Following the meeting, the final Protocol of the meeting of the Commission and the Plan of Action for Economic Cooperation aimed at solving specific problems in the field of trade, healthcare, education and veterinary medicine were signed.
