GER DWELLINGS GIVEN TO THE HOMELESS

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ The city Bayanzurkh district's governor gave 24 gers (national dwelling) to homeless households residing in his district. It has been done in anticipation of the upcoming December 10 international Day of human rights. Prior to this, the governor D.Purevdavaa had accorded ger purchase money of 1.2 million togrog to each of 31 residents out of 205, who had sent requests to his Office. The district administration together with the Red Cross Office of the district also gave G.Batbold a fully furnished ger costing 2.5 million MNT. Adding 500 thousand to 1.5 million togrog, donated from entities of the district, the administration also provided another resident J.Purev with a ger. At the above ceremony, the district governor briefed on the next year’s plan to give shelter to 100 households.
