GIRLS' RIGHT FORUM TO RUN

Ulaanbaatar /MONTSAME/ A first ever here forum of girls' right will run on February 20. The themed "Listen to us" action is a part of the campaign named "Girls are not target of violence". It will be co-organized by "Princess" center and "Beautiful hearts campaign" non-government organizations /NGOs/, under the Canada Fund finance in frames of the International Day of Girl Child declared by the UN. Aims of the forum are to create space for girls to express their opinion and to develop girls' leadership by a way of providing their active participation. The measure will bring together 150 girls from the city and aimags. Lectures will be given on the issues of rights of girls in public places and of girls with special demand including disabled, ethnic minority and employed.
