Indians train Kyrgyz servicemen to conduct operation in mountainous conditions

Bishkek, Feb.4, 2020./Kabar/. Balykchy town of Issyk-Kul Oblast is hosting the gathering of servicemen, the press service of the General Staff of the Kyrgyz Armed Forces reported.
The event has been held since Jan. 27 at the Edelweiss training center.
Training for employees of Kyrgyzstan's Ground Forces, National Guard and State Border Service is conducted by an instructors of the Indian Defense Ministry.
The purpose of the training is to work out the issues of training special operations assets on conducting a joint special operation to destroy illegal armed groups in the mountainous terrain.
As part of the joint training it is planned to conduct practical exercises on tactical, mountain, military medical, fire training, military topography, tactics of action during the storming of premises and survival techniques in extreme conditions.
The training is conducted in accordance with bilateral agreements between the Defense Ministries of the two countries.
