Bishkek, May 11, 2020 /Kabar/. Japanese volunteers shot a video clip in Japan and Kyrgyzstan to support Kyrgyzstanis in fighting the pandemic, the press service of the Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) said.
"COVID-19 has made adjustments to the world community and influenced the work processes of all companies. Most people have to stay home to protect everyone's health. Besides self-isolation, moral support is important. Japanese volunteers decided to support the Kyrgyz people during the fight against the pandemic by dedicating a Japanese song and making an appeal to the Kyrgyz people. Thanks to the well-coordinated remote work, we were able to present a heartfelt video clip," the report says.
38 Japanese volunteers were involved in shooting the video clip in one week in self-isolations conditions in Japan and Kyrgyzstan.
Not only volunteers, but also Japanese employees of JICA projects and representative offices, as well as current and former Permanent Representatives of JICA in the Kyrgyz Republic took part in recording the song and shooting the clip.
“We are pleased to share with you touching song performed by Japanese volunteers in Kyrgyz, Russian and Japanese. This song always supports Japanese and helps to go through challenging times”.
Besides the song, Japanese volunteers made a message to people of Kyrgyzstan with support and hope for a better future.
