Journalists pursue Eurovision-2012 Russia’s participants

Azerbaijan, Baku, May 23 / Trend / Russia's participants Buranovskiye Babushki expressed gratitude at the press-conference to all who supported them. They said that the people stood in the hall and journalists pursue them. Regarding the competition between "Buranovskiye Babushki" and Swedish participants, a Russian representative said that she knows nothing about it. "Buranovskiye Babushki" will perform in the final on May 26 under the number 6. Buranovskiye Babushki is a folk band from Malopurginsk region of Udmurtia, from the village of Buranovo, performing a variety of hits in the Udmurt language, rehashing well-known Russian and foreign performers. The ensemble was founded over 40 years ago. For the first time the band began to perform rehashing in the Udmurt language in 2008. On the Day of the mother tongue in the Udmurt Philharmonic the Babushki sang popular songs by Boris Grebenshchikov and Viktor Tsoi in the Udmurt language. Since then they have repeatedly been in the spotlight of press and television.
