Kyrgyz capital celebrates Day of Russia

Bishkek, June 12, 2020. /Kabar/. The Kyrgyz National Philharmonic Hall named after Toktogul Satylganov in Bishkek hosted Friday a big concert, dedicated to the Day of Russia.
It was organized by the Russian Embassy in Kyrgyzstan, Kyrgyz Ministry of Culture, Information and Tourism and the representative office of Rossotrudnichestvo in the Kyrgyz Republic as part of the Cross Year between Russia and Kyrgyzstan.
Due to the unfavorable epidemiological situation, the concert was held without viewers, but was broadcast live on Culture Channel ("Madaniyat Tarikh Til") of the Public Broadcasting Corporation of the Kyrgyz Republic, as well as on the Internet on the channel's page.
The value and uniqueness of this event is that the concert numbers were performed by Russian and Kyrgyz performers, as well as creative teams of the two countries in online mode.
As Russian Ambassador to Kyrgyzstan Nikolay Udovichenko noted, Russia will continue to maintain close and friendly relations with Kyrgyzstan.
Kyrgyz Culture Minister Azamat Jamankulov said Kyrgyzstan intends to support and develop the cultural values of the two peoples in the key of mutual cooperation in the humanitarian sphere.
"This year our parties are planning to hold many joint events, where your participation, audience sympathy and warm feedback on the ground will be the most important indicator in promoting intercultural dialogue," the minister noted.
The Russian singers performed duets with their Kyrgyz colleagues online.
