Kyrgyz citizens expected to arrive from Russia and Turkey

Bishkek, Apr. 22, 2020. /Kabar/. First Deputy Prime Minister of Kyrgyzstan Kubatbek Boronov chaired Wednesday a regular meeting of the Republican Headquarters for Preventing Import and Further Spread of Coronavirus Infection, the press service of the Government reported. Current issues on activities of the Ministry of Health, Ministry of Internal Affairs and a number of services were discussed. Boronov emphasized that relevant state bodies should ensure full readiness for the imminent arrival of compatriots from Russia and Turkey. "Observation points, medical institutions should be ready. All relevant services, local authorities should clearly and in accordance with the algorithm of actions work out the arrival, accommodation and further actions, creating the necessary conditions for the citizens who arrived," he said. A flight from Novosibirsk (the Russian Federation) is expected today, 176 people will arrive. In addition, as a result of the agreement reached between the governmental structures of Kyrgyzstan and Turkey, a charter flight on the Istanbul-Bishkek route is scheduled to take place on Apr. 24. The arrival of 350 Kyrgyz citizens is expected. All of them will be accommodated at observation points in Bishkek. Social Cluster Deputy PM Aida Ismailova said an interactive map with detailed information about the epidemiological situation in Kyrgyzstan has been launched on the Health Ministry's www.med.kg. website. It allows to review data by oblast and regional perspective. In addition, the website contains full information on received humanitarian aid and how it is distributed. At the end of the meeting a number of instructions were given, including to control the provision of medical workers with personal protective equipment, provision of medical institutions with appropriate medicines and equipment, as well as to conduct quality work with contact persons.
