Kyrgyz film included in program of SCO Film Week in Uzbekistan

Tashkent, Jan.13, 2020. /Kabar/. The Red Apple film by Kyrgyz film director Tolomush Okeyev, based on the story of the same name by great writer Chyngyz Airmatov, will be shown in Uzbekistan as part of the Film Week of countries of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), Kabar correspondent reported citing the press service of the Kyrgyz Embassy in Uzbekistan. The SCO Center for Public Diplomacy in Uzbekistan together with the National Television and Radio Company of Uzbekistan will hold on Jan. 13-20 the SCO Film Week. According to Director of the SCO Center for Public Diplomacy in Uzbekistan Rahmatulla Nazarov, the main purpose of the event is to familiarize the population, including the Uzbek youth with rich culture, traditions and great historical heritage of the SCO countries. Films from India, Kazakhstan, China, Kyrgyzstan, Pakistan, Russia, Tajikistan, Uzbekistan, presented from the Uzbek National Television and Radio Company , will be demonstrated at the SCO Film Week, the report says.
