Kyrgyzstan adds 36 new COVID - 19 cases

Bishkek, June 11, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan’s health ministry reported on Wednesday 36 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number of infections to 2129. Nurbolot Usenbaev, the country’s deputy health minister told a news briefing that 2162 laboratory tests were carried out over the past day, as a result, 36 new cases of coronavirus infection with COVID-19 were identified. Of the new confirmed cases, 4 are imported cases, 19 cases were identified among the contact persons and in 13 cases the source is unknown, Usenbaev added. He also said among the newly infected 10 are medical workers, bringing the total to 419 medical workers contracted COVID-19, including 312 recoveries. He added that 58 patients have been discharged from hospitals in the last 24 hours. In all, 1,630 have fully recovered from the infection. Currently, 473 people remained hospitalized, and 2 patients are in intensive care. In total, 1438 people who have had contact with infected patients are under medical observation and another 9024 people are in home quarantine under the supervision of doctors.
