Kyrgyzstan, Belarus sign agreement on co-op in combating economic and financial crimes

Bishkek, Nov.13, 2019. /Kabar/. The State Service for Combating Economic Crimes (SSCEC) of Kyrgyzstan and the State Control Committee of Belarus signed an Agreement on Cooperation in Combating Economic and Financial Crimes. According to the press service of the SSCEC, the document was signed during the duty travel of Kyrgyzstan’s State Service for Combating Economic Crimes, headed by Chairman Bakir Tayirov to Minsk city. The signing of the Agreement is an important step in strengthening cooperation between the two friendly countries. This document will provide a legal basis for bilateral cooperation between the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Belarus in the area of effective cooperation in combating economic and financial crimes, strengthen information exchange and give a positive impetus to the work of the two agencies. In the course of the visit, the sides discussed the main issues of cooperation in the sphere of combating economic and financial crimes, as well as the prospects of further expansion and deepening of friendly relations, which will contribute to the development of favorable conditions. The visit was organized with the support of the OSCE Programme Office in Bishkek.
