Kyrgyzstan confirms 10 recoveries from COVID-19 in past day

Bishkek, May 15, 2020. /Kabar/. 10 patients throughout Kyrgyzstan with previously confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 coronavirus have been discharged from hospitals in the past day, Chief Sanitary Doctor, Deputy Health Minister of the country Nurbolot Usenbayev said a news briefing. According to him, six of them have cured in the capital city of Bishkek and 4 in Osh Oblast. "All their repeated tests showed negative results. A total of 745 citizens across the country have cured of COVID-19, and they have all been sent home", Usenbayev said. Kyrgyzstan on Friday has confirmed 29 more cases of novel coronavirus infection, raising the total to 1,111. To date, there are 353 patients with COVID-19 being treated in hospitals throughout the country and 3 of them are in intensive care. Also, 2 more coronavirus-related death have been registered in the republic in the past day, totaling the death rate to 14.
