Kyrgyzstan confirms 568 cases of coronavirus infection

Bishkek, Apr. 20, 2020. /Kabar/. As of 10:00 a.m. on Apr. 20, 2020, 14 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been registered in the country, Chief Sanitary Doctor and Deputy Health Minister Nurbolot Usenbayev said at a briefing at Government House. 4 cases of novel coronavirus have been revealed in the capital city of Bishkek, 2 in Chui, 4 in Osh Oblast, 3 in Dzhalal-Abad Oblast and 1 case in Naryn Oblast. "Thus, by 10:00 a.m. on Apr. 20, the country has 568 confirmed cases of coronavirus infection. Of those, 311 are women and 257 are men," Usenbayev added. Also, 16 people with coronavirus infection are in serious condition in hospitals, 8 of them are in intensive care and receive oxygen therapy. Number of people recovered is 201, 7 patients have passed away.
