Kyrgyzstan deploys additional beds for pneumonia patients

Bishkek, June 29, 2020. /Kabar/. On June 28, 2020 the Ministry of Health of Kyrgyzstan deployed additional beds for pneumonia patients. Additional 150 beds have been deployed in the urology department of the National Hospital, another 200 beds have been deployed in the observation center on the territory of Manas Airport, all of them started to receive patients with pneumonia. Medical teams have been formed to provide medical care to patients. The departments are provided with necessary medical equipment. According to the Government's press service, as of June 28, 57 oxygen concentrators have been purchased and distributed among medical organizations. As of today, an additional 120 beds will be converted to accommodate patients with pneumonia at City Clinical Hospital 1. Before that, more than 400 beds were deployed at the National Phthisiology, Railway Hospital, National Surgical Center, National Hospital, Institute of Balneology, City Clinical Hospital No. 1. As for patients with positive diagnosis of COVID-19, separate hospitals have been identified for them. There is enough beds for coronavirus patients.
