Kyrgyzstan, Indonesia intend to sign agreement on co-op between education ministries

Bishkek, Mar.2, 2020 /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan’s Deputy Minister of Education and Science Nurlan Omurov met with Ambassador of Indonesia to Kyrgyzstan Sunario Kartadinata. During the meeting, the sides discussed the accreditation of educational institutions and requirements for national qualification frameworks, exchanged views on the education systems of the two countries. Sunario Kartadinata thanked the Ministry for supporting the interest of young people in cultural scholarships. He added that, in order to attract more candidates, the Embassy is working on extending the deadline for receiving documents. At the meeting, an agreement was reached to sign a Memorandum of Understanding between the Ministry of Education and Science of Kyrgyzstan and the Indonesian Ministry of Education, providing mutual quotas for citizens' education in all programs (Bachelor's, Master's, PhD), exchange of experience among teachers, creation of joint research groups and others.
