Kyrgyzstan participates in conference on higher education in India

Bishkek, Dec.2, 2019. /Kabar/. Delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic participated in the Global Conference & Exhibition on Higher Education in New Delhi (India), the press service of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs said Monday. The delegation consisting of rectors of the Academy of Public Administration under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Akmataliyev, Naryn State University Siyayev, Issyk-Kul State University Abdyldayev, as well as a famous scientist Aidaraliyev, took part in the 15th FICCI Higher Education Summit 2019 Global Conference & Exhibition. This Summit was officially opened by President of India Ram Nath Kovind, who addressed the issues of expanding opportunities for international cooperation in higher education, establishing partnerships and cooperation between Indian and foreign institutions of higher education, as well as sharing the vision of higher education in India and promoting India as a global education hub. More than 1500 Indian and foreign participants from Africa, Middle East, CIS, members of the South Asian Association for Regional Cooperation (SAARC), Latin America, Canada, USA, European countries, Australia, New Zealand and East Asia also took part in the Summit. This educational Conference became a good platform for the Kyrgyz delegation in terms of holding fruitful meetings with delegates from foreign countries to discuss the development of cooperation in the field of higher education, as well as establishing contacts with foreign partners. FICCI Higher Education Summit & Exhibition 2019, is an international event on Higher Education jointly organised by Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India, Services Export Promotion Council (SEPC) and Federation of Indian Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) on Nov. 27-29, 2019 in New Delhi. The Summit facilitates development of a strategic partnership in Higher Education between India and foreign countries and promote quality higher education for services export from India.
