Bishkek, May 26, 2020 / Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan plans to open kindergartens gradually, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of the Kyrgyz Republic Nazira Dzhusupbekova told at a briefing on Tuesday. She said that the ministry monitored in which region, how many parents are ready to send their children to kindergartens. “We found out that more than 9 thousand children are ready to go to kindergartens. We are ready to start work if the relevant government agencies give the opportunity. For us, the main thing is the safety of children, therefore, we will look at the epidemiological situation,” she said. Dzhusupbekova said that depending on the epidemiological situation, kindergartens are ready to open in stages. 35 new COVID-19 cases have been registered today in Kyrgyzstan, 1468 in total. 1015 citizens have been recovered and discharged from hospitals, including 237 medical workers. Sixteen have passed away.
