Kyrgyzstan receives over 30 thsd test systems from the IsDB Fund

The Fael Khair Program Fund under the Islamic Development Bank (IsDB) allocated USD 350 thousand to Kyrgyzstan to combat coronavirus, the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic reported. For these funds, PCR test systems with reagents for detecting coronavirus infection in the amount of 30 thousand 400 pieces were purchased. The aid was delivered in the republic with the logistical assistance of the Kyrgyz embassies in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and Turkey. “At the request of the Ministry of Health and with the assistance of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, within the framework of work to counteract the spread of coronavirus infection, the issue of allocation of grant funds in the amount of USD 350 thousand through the Fael Khair Program fund under the Islamic Development Bank has been worked out,” the Foreign Ministry said.
