Kyrgyzstan repatriates its citizens from India, Belarus

Bishkek, June 2, 2020. /Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan continues to evacuate its citizens from abroad due to coronavirus infection.
Thus, a total of 185 Kyrgyz citizens have returned to their homeland on June 2.
A regular charter flight of Air India on the Delhi-Bishkek-Deli route, organized by the Indian side for the removal of Indian citizens from Kyrgyzstan, has arrived in the Kyrgyz Republic.
According to the press service of the Kyrgyz Foreign Ministry, in accordance with an agreement reached with the Indian side, 6 Kyrgyz citizens have arrived from India on this flight.
Also, 179 more citizens of Kyrgyzstan from Belarus have arrived on Tuesday by the Avia Traffic Company on the Minsk-Bishkek route.
This flight was organized by the Kyrgyz Embassy in Belarus in cooperation with foreign institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic in European countries in order to return home Kyrgyzstanis, who had previously arrived in Minsk in transit from various European and Asian countries and did not fly to Kyrgyzstan due to the suspension of transport communication and closure of borders.
Kyrgyz citizens from Armenia, Austria, Belarus, Czech Republic, Estonia, France, Germany, Hungary, Lithuania, Italy, Netherlands, Poland, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland, Ukraine and Great Britain have returned on this flight.
The passenger list was formed according to the applications previously submitted to the foreign institutions of the Kyrgyz Republic in Europe.
At present, all those who arrived are placed under surveillance (observation) to undergo appropriate medical procedures in accordance with the established procedure.
"The work carried out in pursuance of President's order on the return of Kyrgyz citizens from abroad in connection with the suspension of international passenger air traffic due to the COVID-19 coronavirus pandemic in the world continues," the report says.
