Kyrgyzstan reports 14 new COVID-19 cases, raising total to 1016

Bishkek, May 11, 2020 / Kabar/. Kyrgyzstan on Monday reported 14 new COVID-19 cases, bringing the total number to 1016. The country’s Deputy Minister of Health Nurbolot Usenbaev told that among the newly infected, 3 are medical workers. The total number of medical workers diagnosed with COVID-19 reached 235, with 180 recoveries, he said. In addition, 1100 people who have had contact with infected patients are still under medical observation, while 13 others have recovered in the past day. Usenbaev said that a total of 688 patients were discharged with recovery throughout the country. Meanwhile, there have been 316 patients with coronavirus infection in hospitals in the country, 3 are in intensive care. In addition, 4371 contact people are under the supervision of doctors in home quarantine.
