Kyrgyzstan reports 22 new COVID-19 cases. 612 in total

Bishkek, Apr. 22, 2020 / Kabar /. As of April 22 morning, 22 new confirmed COVID-19 cases have been registered in Kyrgyzstan, the country’s Deputy Health Minister Nurbolot Usenbaev told Wednesday.
Thus, the total number of confirmed cases of coronavirus infection reached 612.
Usenbaev said that the tests of another 10 medical workers have been positive for COVID -19, bringing the total number of contracted medical workers to 157.
He also noted that 38 patients with a previously confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 were discharged from hospitals per day.
“Their repeated analyzes showed negative results. In total, 254 citizens were recovered from COVID-19 in the country,” the deputy minister said.
Currently, there are 12 COVID-19 patients in hospitals in serious condition, 5 of them are in intensive care.
