Kyrgyzstan reports 279 new COVID-19 cases

Bishkek, June 30, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan's confirmed COVID-19 cases reached 5,296 after 279 new COVID-19 positive cases were confirmed on Tuesday.
At a daily briefing the country’s Deputy Health Minister Mademin Karataev said that of the new cases, two cases are imported, the rest 277 are contacts of confirmed patients.
Among the new cases 47 are medical workers, bringing the total number of contracted medical workers to 830, including 442 recoveries, Karataev added.
The number of patients discharged from hospitals rose by 76, bringing the total number of recoveries to 2,370.
The deputy minister reported 7 new virus-related deaths, raising the total number of fatalities to 57.
Meanwhile, 721 people remained hospitalized, 23 patients are in intensive care.
In addition, 2,148 asymptomatic patients are in home quarantine.
