Kyrgyzstan reports 28 new COVID-19 cases

Bishkek, June 2, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan reported 28 new COVID-19 cases,bringing the total number of cases to 1845.
Nurbolot Usenbaev, deputy minister of health of Kyrgyzstan told a news briefing on Tuesday that 16 of them are imported cases, 12 of them are contacts of confirmed cases.
He noted that one patient has died last night with confirmed coronavirus infection COVID-19.
Thus, the death toll in the country reached 17.
The deputy minister noted that among the newly infected two are medical workers.
"In total, 364 cases of coronavirus were registered among medical workers, with 254 recoveries" he said.
Currently, Usenbaev said, there have been 609 patients with coronavirus infection in hospitals in the country, 4 are in intensive care.
He also noted that 38 patients with a previously confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19 were discharged from hospitals per day, making the recovery tally 1219.
In addition, 2404 people who have contact with infected patients are still under medical observation.
The number of contacts of the infected is 7664, all of them under the supervision of doctors in home quarantine.
