Kyrgyzstan reports 28 new COVID - 19 cases

Bishkek, June 3, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan on Thursday confirmed 28 new COVID-19 cases, raising its total number of infections to 1899. Deputy Health Minister of the country Nurbolot Usenbaev, during his daily online news briefing, said that among the newly infected 7 are medical workers, bringing the number of contracted medical workers to 372, including 270 recoveries. He noted that the number of recoveries increased to 1292, with 27 new recoveries in the last 24 hours. The official said that there are currently 587 patients in hospitals with confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis, 3 are in the intensive care unit. In total,1953 people who have had contact with infected patients are under medical observation. In addition, the number of contacts of the infected is 7905, all of them under the supervision of doctors in home quarantine. 2933 tests were carried out in the past 24 hours.
