Kyrgyzstan reports 37 new COVID - 19 cases

Bishkek, June 5, 2020 / Kabar /. Kyrgyzstan announced on Friday the registration of 37 new COVID - 19 cases, bringing the total number of infections to 1936.
The country’s Deputy Health Minister Nurbolot Usenbaev at his daily briefing told that 12 of the newly confirmed patients are citizens already under medical observation and 17 are imported cases, 8 sources of infection are unknown.
He also reported two new virus-related deaths, raising the death toll to 22.
48 patients recovered from the disease in the last 24 hours, bringing the total number of people who have been discharged from hospitals to 1340.
Currently 574 patients in hospitals with confirmed COVID-19 diagnosis, three are in the intensive care unit.
In total, 2032 people who have had contact with infected patients are under medical observation and another 8046 people are in home quarantine under the supervision of doctors.
