Kyrgyzstan, Russia discus co-op issues in combating economic and financial crimes

Bishkek, Dec.9, 2019. /Kabar/. Deputy Chairman of Kyrgyzstan’s State Service for Combating Economic Crimes (SSCEC) Emil Zhamgyrchiyev met with representative of the Russian Interior Ministry in Kyrgyzstan Vladimir Luzganov and Head of the Consular Department of the Russian Embassy in Kyrgyzstan Yuri Efimov, the press service of the SSCEC said Monday. Deputy Chairman Zhamgyrchiyev drew attention to the fact that today the priority tasks of the SSCEC are the direct protection of the economic security of the state, replenishment of the country's budget and creation of the most favorable conditions for business and investment in the country. He also noted the active cooperation of the State Service for Combating Economic Crimes and the Interior Ministry of Russia in combating economic crimes can ensure the protection of interests of entrepreneurs of both Kyrgyzstan and Russia. In the course of the meeting, the Russian side noted the positive dynamics in the protection of entrepreneurs of the Russian Federation from unlawful interference. A clear indicator was the absence in the past year complaints against the SSCEC bodies by Russian citizens carrying out entrepreneurial activities in the territory of Kyrgyzstan in the past year. The Kyrgyz and Russian sides discussed the main issues of cooperation in the field of combating economic and financial crimes. The meeting participants also considered prospects for further expansion and deepening of bilateral relations, which will serve development of both countries and create favorable conditions for further fruitful bilateral cooperation in trade and economic spheres.
