Kyrgyzstan, UAE sign agreement on transfer of convicted persons

Bishkek, Dec.13, 2019. /Kabar/. Prosecutor General of the Kyrgyz Republic Otkurbek Dzhamshitov and Minister of Justice of the United Arab Emirates Sultan Saeed Al Badi signed the Treaty between Kyrgyzstan and the United Arab Emirates on the transfer of convicted persons. The signing of the document took place as part of the official visit of Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov to the UAE, the pres service of the Kyrgyz Prosecutor General's Office said. This agreement will allow the transfer of convicted persons to the country of their nationality for further serving their sentences. On Dec. 11-12, 2019 Kyrgyz President Sooronbay Jeenbekov paid official visit to the UAE at the invitation of Prince of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi, Deputy Supreme Commander of the UAE Armed Forces Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan. The delegation of the Kyrgyz Republic consisted of Minister of Foreign Affairs Chingiz Aidarbekov, Head of the Foreign Policy Department of the President’s Office Daniyar Sydykov, First Deputy Head of the President’s Office Almaz Kenenbayev, MPs Marat Amankulov, Zarylbek Rysaliyev, Nurbek Alimbekov, Kamchybek Zholdoshbayev, Ulugbek Ormonov, Emil Toktoshev, Prosecutor General Otkurbek Dzhamshitov, Minister of Culture, Information and Tourism Azamat Jamankulov, Minister of Education and Science Kanybek Isakov, Minister of Labor and Social Development Ulukbek Kochkorov, Minister of Emergency Situations Nurbolot Mirzakhmedov and Minister of Economy Sanjar Mukanbetov.
