Kyrgyzstan, Ukraine’s Kharkiv Oblast express interest in developing bilateral co-op

Bishkek, Mar.12, 2020 /Kabar/. Ambassador of Kyrgyzstan to Ukraine Jusupbek Sharipov held meeting with Chairman of the Kharkiv regional state administration (KRSA) Alexey Kucher. The meeting took place as part of Sharipov’s working trip to Kharkiv Oblast, the press service of the Kyrgyz Ministry of Foreign Affairs said on Thursday. During the bilateral discussions, the sides debated development of promising areas of trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Kyrgyzstan and Kharkiv Oblast of Ukraine. They also raised issues of intensification of bilateral business contacts between interested entrepreneurs in agriculture, light industry, IT-sphere, cooperation in the field of hydropower, holding industry forums, establishing twin-city relations between Dzhalal-Abad and Kharkiv Oblasts, as well as opening the Honorary Consulate of the Kyrgyz Republic in Kharkiv city. At the end of the meeting, the Kyrgyz and Ukrainian sides expressed mutual interest in developing bilateral cooperation and outlined further steps. The Kyrgyz ambassador left his wishes in the book of honorary guests of Kharkiv Oblast.
