Kyrgyzstan's coronavirus infection tally reaches 298

Bishkek, Apr. 10, 2020. /Kabar/. At 10:00 a.m. on Apr.10, 18 new cases of COVID-19 coronavirus infection were registered in Kyrgyzstan, Deputy Health Minister of the republic Mademin Karatayev said at a briefing. According to him, 6 new cases of novel coronavirus were confirmed in Bishkek, in Chui Oblast- 8 cases, in Dzhalal-Abad Oblast -3 cases, and 1 case was revealed in Issyk-Kul Oblast. There are 7 women and 11 men among those infected. Also, on Apr.10 one more coronavirus-related was registered in Kyrgyzstan, bringing the death toll to 5. 87-year-old resident of Nookat region, Osh Oblast was in intensive care of the territorial hospital in serious condition. Thus, the number of cases of COVID-19 infections in the country has reached 298. 39 medical workers in the country contracted COVID-19. The same number of people, 39, have recovered and discharged from hospital.
