Kyrgyzstan's death toll from coronavirus reaches 28

Bishkek, June 16, 2020. /Kabar/. In Kyrgyzstan, another woman died of coronavirus. Deputy Health Minister Nurbolot Usenbayev said a woman, 85, was in the national physiatry with severe pneumonia. "COVID-19 was confirmed at the hospital. She was transferred to the Kyrgyz-Turkish hospital. But despite the treatment and resuscitation, the patient died," he said. The deputy minister added in Dzhalal-Abad Oblast's Suzak region a woman died of blood cancer, but coronavirus was also revealed. "Even though she died of cancer, the woman was diagnosed with coronavirus. According to WHO recommendations, we should keep records of such cases," noted the deputy minister. Kyrgyzstan on Tuesday registered record number of coronavirus cases - 100, raising the total to 2,472. 1,847 citizens in the republic have cured and been discharged from hospitals, 28 people have died.
